Books by Dr. Seuss

Dr. Seuss built worlds out of language itself. The rhymes, the invented words, the illustrations that look like nothing else. His best books (The Lorax, Oh the Places You'll Go, Green Eggs and Ham) are so deeply embedded in the culture that they function as shared reference points. His earlier work carries biases that deserve acknowledgment, and Seuss Enterprises has addressed some of them. His influence on how children experience language remains enormous.
